Access panel behind kitchen backsplash?
Kitchen remodel – want access panel behind tile backsplash for electrical outlets and plumbing. Needs to be thin, tileable, and open without destroying grout. Any good options?

Backsplashes make access tricky – you don’t want visible screws or bulky frames ruining the look. I used a ultra-low-profile metal panel with a thin edge; tiles sit flush right up to it, and the magnetic door removes cleanly without pulling grout. No cracks or shifting after a year of heat/humidity from cooking. This one blended perfectly in my kitchen:

10×14 size gave enough room for outlets. Used thin-set carefully around the frame.
