Which is better for screen casting — DoCast or TV Cast?
Hey folks, I’ve been trying to find a reliable way to mirror or cast videos from my iPhone to my smart TV, and I’m stuck between two apps — DoCast vs TV Cast. I’ve tried reading reviews but they’re pretty mixed and don’t go into much detail. I’m mostly looking to stream videos from my camera roll or some from websites, and maybe mirror my screen now and then for presentations or to show something to friends. Has anyone used both for a while? Which one works more smoothly overall, especially in terms of stability and speed? I don’t need anything overly complicated, just something that actually works without constant disconnects or weird delays. Any insights?

Been using one of those apps during family movie nights. It works fine for the most part, especially for streaming home videos or downloaded stuff. But I ran into small issues when trying to watch clips from websites — it would occasionally stop loading halfway through or just loop the loading circle. When I switched to the other one, it handled those same clips better, though I had to fiddle with settings more to get it right. I do like that one of them lets you adjust playback quality and stream resolution, which made a difference on my older TV. Another thing I noticed — one of them heats up my phone a lot more during longer sessions, like if you’re watching a full movie. Not a deal breaker but worth keeping in mind if you’re casting often.
